8.07.18 The Primary is Around the Corner - Get Involved and VOTE!

Election season is almost here and the first stop is the Primary! PWA endorsed candidate for Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, will be a great champion for women and families by fighting for paid family leave, equal pay for equal work, protecting access to healthcare, and protecting victims of sexual harassment and violence. She is ready to fight for us, but first we need to fight for her!

One important way to increase a candidate's name recognition and show your support is to put out a yard sign! If you don't have a #WinWithWhitmer sign yet, just email: tyjuan@gretchenwhitmer.com to request a sign delivered right to your home OR you can pick one up at Gretchen’s shared Grand Rapids office (1801 Breton Rd - across from Breton Village) anytime during the week between 10am and 7pm or during the weekend from 10am-4pm.

Finally, and most importantly, be a voter on August 7. Remind your friends and family to get out to the polls too! Democracy only works and progress only happens when we all do our part.
